Just bought a new prs ce24 and wanted that jb/59 sound so installed that and pulled these pickups out of it. These sounded good clean to mid gain but didnt have that 80’s vibe i wanted for this guitar. These have long legs and 4 conductor wiring. $200 or make offer, shipped conus/paypal.

Been quite awhile since i’ve posted. But thought i’d share my NGD. PRS ce24. All mahogany (no maple top) in egyptian gold. Plays effortless and extremely resonant. I’m not sold on the 57/08 pickups. Sound great clean but not my favorite with higher gain. Thats an easy fix though.

since the headphone jack is tied into the cabclone feature....does that mean you can plug in headphones and use the amp without a speaker cab connected as long as you turn the speaker off switch to utilize the load resistor? sorry if it seems like a goofy elementary question but I have to ask :D

I'm in love with the cleans I hear from the Lonestar in videos etc...Even the el84 Lonestar Special sounds really good to me. I wish I had somewhere to try one.... But i've been thinking, Can the Mesa Mark 5:25 be dialed in for similar tones? I guess it would compare more with the Lonestar...

IF you were downsizing and wanted a swiss army amp (one amp for every tone) from jazz, country, to rock/metal. What lower wattage amp would you consider? I know one amp can't nail every tone but i'm just saying to get into the ballpark for at home fun/jam time. I'm not interested in axefx...

I recently played a Schecter and I have to say, I was impressed at the playability and quality for the price. I think it was a Merrow? model Schecter. Anyway, it's good to see some lower priced guitars being really good quality. I've certainly seen some high priced guitars that were turds!

If you own it or have played it, tell me all about it. Likes, dislikes etc... I'm not all that familiar with Mesa products honestly. I like 80's hardrock/metal and some modern tones so thinking this may do a little of it all. I play only at home and thought this might be a good low volume setup...

Anybody have experience with both of these? I know I like the EVH amps but the Mesa Mark V:25 has my attention. I have nowhere to try one though.
