Well it looks like this issue was user error. I kept the presence, mids and treble at 10 oclock because amp seemed bright, so bass was at 9 oclock otherwise too much because eq was neutered with the low settings. Turned up presence and mids to 1-2 oclock and now bass can be turned up to 1-2...

Can you recommend a bias probe/meter that won’t break the bank. Don’t need top of the line, but preferably at least with 2 probes for a 100 watt. Seen some on Amazon and they get mixed reviews.

What would you guys recommend for a medium/hot output bridge pickup for a les paul standard. I’m thinking 10 to 14k . Guitar currently has 500k pots and 50s style wiring. Has a 8.6 k paf style pickups which is great for 70’s stuff but I think I want to go hotter for 80s rock to 90s alternative...

Anyone know what transformers Splawn started using in 2020 for their Quickrods? The choke in mine reads classic tone but no name on the output or power trannies that I can see.
