I've never tried it (two overdrives) but there's at least a couple guys between here and the Guitar Gear forum that double boost. I remember hearing a few clips of a Henning Cherry Bomb with two overdrives that sounded pretty sweet.

It probably had something to do with the wait time on his custom builds.

Thanks dude, I'll check into all of the above. Going to do some shopping this weekend for OTFs and maybe some trench knives. I've had an old knuckle duster shank since the late 80s, but I'd really like another one with a skull crusher pommel. Leaning towards ordering a 1918 US reproduction...

Right there with ya on the embarrassingly light dumbbells, lol. Same with the hand positions on push ups: wide, narrow, and diamond. Gotta be careful with the narrow, because if I don't keep my focus the lower back takes a beating.

I think you are being too hard on yourself. I listen to several clips a day where guys are raving about the modded Marshall or vintage plexi or some other holy grail amp, and I think they sound like fizzy ass. I like your clip! :cheers:

For most of the 80s I had an early 70s Fender Super Reverb that I goosed with a Rat pedal.

I learned how to play on a super strat which I got in early 1985 and still own. I got my first LP copy about 6 years ago and while I love the way it looks and sounds, it feels like a clunky old piece of furniture. So, pretty much in the same boat as you guys.

You should record clips with this hard setup more often!
