It's been considered bad forum etiquette for decades brother; it's not something I just made up. It's literally the equivalent of posting a paragraph split up into sentences, each as a separate post.

Heard of "cheap posting"? Not good etiquette. 40 posts with an average gap time of less than a minute is actually the worst case of this I've seen in 25 years on the intermanets, so there's that.

So yeah, you couldn't have "figured it any-more wrong".

Just weird that you can deliver the most-extreme case of cheap posting I've seen in 25 years and not seem to be able to get your head around the fact that it's not-kosher / frowned-upon / annoying-to-many / considered bad forum etiquette etc.

The hyperbole in your reply is ridiculous too, so well-done on that one.

I call this behaviour out whenever I see a flurry of posts within a single thread by a single member in a very-short timeframe... who could've easily hit the edit button.

Last thing I want to be is the bad guy, but hey, it's part of a mod's job to nip things in-the-bud before they become epidemics. Guaranteed you wouldn't find an epidemic of this stuff purdy to look at or navigate through.

Having not fully recovered from that ridiculous argument I had with you in the flat-earth thread a few weeks ago, I beg of you, please don't turn this into a debate. Instead, why not just "realise" that you learned something that'll stand you in good stead in the online world? You could even thank me or say, "Sorry I didn't realise" or whatever, instead of deflecting to a hyperbolic criticism of my action/s.

I’m not defending anything but I don’t see it as a problem really. It’s not like it was a bot doing multiple posts in multiple threads trying to get you to buy some Chinese aphrodisiac. No different than the James Tyler episode awhile back. Easy enough to scroll on by it.
