$2500 you say? I’m sure you have plenty of Amps with a decent Return in the loop. 😉 If you lived close to Columbus, OH I’d bring one over and run it through a loop and see how close you could get to the Live sound you are after, if for no other reason than to see if it could be done.

Yeah, now that you mention it I can see the Resonance thing being an issue. I’ve also got an OG 50W 5150III… Blue channel with a boost is brutal. 100W Stealth could be the way to go bro.

Why not a Badlander? I just picked one of these up and it's fantastic. Way more Marshall tone than Mesa IMO. This way you don't have to compromise. :thumbsup: Blake did a great Marshall comparison. These are killer amps.

I would say with EQ. I have a Mark V and the Crunch mode with the EQ sounds great. I believe the VII mode is still a higher gain mode extension of the Crunch. Here's the description from the manual, which says towards the end that you can use the mode with or without EQ.
