Finally got the amp back in the mail today. not only was it untouched, it was in the original package I sent it in unopened. I am actually more disappointed in that than I am in the fact he never touched or did any work on the amp. Crazy but at least I got it back.

Update, reached out to him on FB messenger Thursday, said he was goiong to be at the shop friday and let me know that he had located. Didn't hear anything so asked about it after 5 EST on FB messenger. He called and let me know that he will locate the amp monday. Didn't hear anything monday...
