Hey Guys!
I just received a set of presets from Italo for my Eventide H7600! I can't wait to hear them! :)
I have a friend who recently bought preset packages for his machines, and they are truly amazing!
Italo is in Italy, and I am in Canada, and yet the transaction was SO simple! Thanks...
Hi Guys,
Just an FYI.....I have heard Italo's presets, and I think they are well worth the spend.....He has obviously spent a lot of time and energy in this area, and it makes complete sense to want to keep that information proprietary.
Italo, I tried to reach you on your website......I would...
There are 2 things here......so you need to be specific:
1. Customs fee......this is the "tax" that they place on TOP of the value that has been declared for shipping. If you valued it at $500, the customs fee would b a percentage of that.......it is really meant to "penalize" the BUYER for...
Hi Guys,
I have seen so many for sale posts by guys who say "CON US ONLY".....To me, that is just silly nonsense! :)
If you are shipping something ANYWHERE, the process is exactly the SAME! :)
STEPS:
1. Take it to the depot of choice....FedEx, UPS, USPS....
2. Have the depot of choice give...
That was great!!!!
Have you ever experimented with having all 3 cabs the same?........instead of a 2x12 for dry, and 1x12's for the wet/dry blend?
I have a 4x12 and two 1x12's that I use in a setup that is similar to yours (but with an Eventide Eclipse for FX). Sometimes I think that the...
That was great!!!! Killer track too! I saw that tour twice! :)
The video effects were cool too! If you could add some dry ice, and a strobe light next time, it would be even cooler! :) ;)
Cheers
That is WICKED! :)
Good for you! Collapsing the effects to mono is a good idea as those presets are typically built in stereo.....So, if used in a mono setup, they need to be collapsed to mono, or they don't sound right. Awesome! :)
This is cool thread! :)
So what's the format for the rack? Is it a mono setup with the RSP550 and Eclipse in the loop of the Friedman?
How are you switching in the Studio preamp? I am assuming it is going into the Friedman's power section?....
If you are running this setup in mono, do you...
I think that the BEST rig is one that is as "simple" as possible, so that you can sound as good as possible.
I think that FX processing (i.e., delay/reverb/pitch/chorusing) is BEST performed by RACK units......
However, there are some quintesential FX units that are be run in front of the amp...
From hat I understand, the Mojo cabs are built with actual finger joints on the corners, so they are inherently strong.
I am not sure if this is the same for the Bogner though?.....and I own a Bonger Anniversary straight 4x12
I am thinking about buying a new mojo-built straight 4x12, with...

+100 on all of these points above! This is also the most informative post in this entire thread! :)
Guys, I have had my 50W EH3 for 4 years now, and in addition to the points made above, I love the FX loop on this amp, and I love Ted's design approach of NOT trying to be a...
Hi Don,
Thanks for the response! Nice playing too! :)
I checked out some of your vids.....the Bogner 2x12 with the Helios head in 30-watt mode was awesome! I really liked the squishy-ness of that one....
I have a Bogner anniversary 4x12 now, and two 1x12's that I'm using for my W/D/W...
Hi Guys,
I'm interested in buying a Bogner 2x12BC cab.....this is not the "oversized" one, but the one that looks like the bottom half of a straight 4x12.
Have any of you guys tried this cab? If so, what were your thoughts?
I have a sweet Bogner Anniversary 4x12 straight cab now, but I am...
Yes, back around 1995 Tim Pierce was using it alot on records.......check out Meatloaf's "Welcome to the Real World" and a song by Canadian singer Amanda Marshall called "Let it Rain".
Michael Thompson also used one on studio records.....
