Hi Guys,

I'm interested in buying a Bogner 2x12BC cab.....this is not the "oversized" one, but the one that looks like the bottom half of a straight 4x12.

Have any of you guys tried this cab? If so, what were your thoughts?

I have a sweet Bogner Anniversary 4x12 straight cab now, but I am considering getting the 2x12BC cab as it is a bit more portable.

Thanks for the input....

Cheers
Ian

I have that cab. Incredible. I have old blue-frame Scumback M75-65s in it (actually, it was custom-ordered that way from Bogner). While I would also like the 2x12OS cab, this one is far easier to move. I'm using it with my BE100 here in this clip I shot this morning:

Hi Don,

Thanks for the response! Nice playing too! :)

I checked out some of your vids.....the Bogner 2x12 with the Helios head in 30-watt mode was awesome! I really liked the squishy-ness of that one....

I have a Bogner anniversary 4x12 now, and two 1x12's that I'm using for my W/D/W setup, but I'm thinking that the 2x12 would be better for moving around.....

Cheers

Thanks, Ian.

The Helios in 30-watt mode turned up does sound very nice, especially with the Scumbacks. The problem with that amp is getting other tones out of it!

I'm a big fan of a 2x12. The only one that has competed with this Bogner was a THD slotted 2x12 I had. That sounded great as well.

I just sold mine a while back as my friend wanted it as a package with my XTC head. Amazing sounding cab with V30s! I liked the weight of it as well. Can't go wrong with one of them. Easy to transport and carry as it has the side handles on it.
