Up for sale is an original 1991 Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 10 Top in whale blue with original case and made in the Annapolis factory.
Wide thin neck
Neck thickness at first fret : .850”
Neck thickness at twelfth fret : 0.930”
Vintage Bass neck pick up resistance : 8.2k
HFS bridge pick up resistance : 13.5k
This PRS custom 24 is in excellent condition. The frets have little to no wear at all, the hardware is also in great shape. There is some very minor cosmetic wear, a few very small dings, but for its age, it really is in incredible condition. There is some very slight belt buckle rash on the back but it is very minor so you should be able to buff out if you wish to do so.
Everything on this Guitar is completely original, except the strings and strap buttons. It currently has shaller locking straps studs. It features a vintage bass neck pick up and an HFS bridge pick up. The guitar is set up with 9 to 46 strings. The action is set up low and fast and free of fret buzz. The Guitar weighs in at 8.6 lbs. The flame is absolutely stunning and easy to tell why it was rated as a 10 top. These guitars are known for their huge Sound with tons of sustain but also that they were using Brazilian rosewood for the fret boards and very high-quality flame maple wood for the 10 tops. This also has the desirable sweet switch, 5 ways rotary that is untouched and completely original!
I am located in the Houston Texas area and happy to meet up if you so desire.
$3695 shipped in the USA. PayPal or Venmo preferred.
I am open to reasonable offers, but please no low balls.
The only trades that I would consider would be Gibson SG’s, a Firebird or maybe a rock ‘n’ roll relics.
Ampwise maybe 70s Marshall heads, any Friedman amps, Bogner heads or even a wizard MC 25
