Met an absolutely killer guitar player yesterday that lives nearby who gave me a nice deal on this Charvel.

In the meantime I picked up an SL 67 last week from Tony Higbee from the Nashville Guitar Center, and also got this cabinet from a great guy on this forum a few months ago. Tony is a class act.

The SL was modded by HIME in Nashville to include in an effects loop, which is fully removable (no holes drilled). The loop sounds great so I’ll count that as value added.

Has anybody played a HIME amplifier or worked with him at all?

It’s going to be a fun weekend ??

Very nice. What pups are in the Charvel?

Post some clips of the amp if you have time.
SD Distortions. Too much whisky tonight (which is possibly making the amps sound better!) and supercross tomorrow night / travel next week. Maybe I'll shoot a vid next weekend. What do you want to hear thru it?

It's so percussive, sounds amazing! No regrets.

So the Master is now on the front,,,thats convenient
Yes, quite convenient actually. The master is really good so I'm not running it thru my OX unless recording with it!

I could park this thing with a 1x12 in the living room easily.

I picked up another Charvel, to go with my Charvel ?

Though this one was a little more intentional :

There are two Hime British Steel amps (50W and 100W) in the platinum room at Nashville GC.

Played the 100W this past weekend. Sounds killer, super sensitive to touch.

Really solid Amp. Think AC/DC plexi tones on steroid if you have a heavy picking hand.

Very well put together.

Here’s a short clip of Richie Faulkner playing through it at GC Nashville Platinum Room

He’s got some magic in his hands cause I was not able to extract that heavy of a tone from that amp

That's killer, thanks for sharing. How are the amps priced?

$3k+ from what I recall but I’ve been looking at so many amps over the last week I might be hallucinating at this point. Higbee is your guy for pricing, I’d give him a call for sure.

Cool, I'll probably be in Nashville again soon and I'm going to try the amps out. Really curious, but I've also bought 5 amps in 2 years. Need to chill for a minute!!

I get it lol…it was a good sounding/great feeling amp, hope you dig it!

No, I’m close to Detroit, but far enough away to still be alive

I just travel a lot for work. Typically get to hit Nashville at least once a year
