“No One Can Bejesus”: ESP RZK-II into Mark IV (E906 + Room Mics)

"But It Can Be Scared Out Of You" is the working title of this piece, where I was critiquing people who act holier than thou while blatantly disregarding all acceptable social norms and behaviour.



The video of the guitar playing was unfortunately no focused right, so all you see is the headstock of the guitar, so I thought I'd take a picture of the new setup in my current dwelling.

The amp is a Mesa Boogie Mark IV and I miced an Orange 2x12 with a Sennheiser E906. I also used a Zoom H4 as a room mic, for an amp in the room sound on the recording.

Love the mark IV. I like the more aggressive top end of my mark III but you can’t deny the IV is one bad mofo. Are you pulling a lot of low mids out? Seems a bit thin to me but that could just be me.

I have a Mark III as well in my Mesa Quad. They're different flavours for sure. I did pull a lot of mids out, but bear in mind this is a relatively low volume, because I can't really blast my speakers at my current residence. The mid content would add more body if the volume was turned up.
