I’m on the fence with my Kemper about keeping it or not. I’m in major downsizing mode, and I’m sort of emotionally attached to my remaining tube amps, but the Kemper is just so damn useful.
I reckon if I do sell it, I should probably have it up to date so I might as well update it, but I don’t know. Computers make me nervous lol

I wouldn't worry about the up-to-date thing. As JTB rightly points out, the purchaser's updating it will be child's play:

Plug her into computer, sign into Rig Manager and it’ll tell ya what to do?
All updates will come up to just click on, Easy.

Only things to look out for IMHO are:
OS10 is still in beta.
OS10 requires a version of Rig Manager that won't run in MacOS 10.13.6 (High Sierra) or earlier.

Just open Preferences in Rig Manager.

I’ll give that a shot. I can’t for the life of me get it to update lol. I downloaded all the files from the website but whenever I try and update Rig Manager tells me I’m up to date.

Download the OS .zip file from:

here

Unzip it and pop the OS-update file onto a Kemper-formatted USB stick (format it on the Kemper - follow the prompts).

Pop the stick back into the Kemper and follow the prompts to update the unit.

Tip:
If there are any Rigs you don't want to risk losing, drag them into Rig Manager as a backup first. If you can't get RM to recognise your machine, or just if you want to, you can first create a backup file on the USB stick. Pop the stick into the machine and, you guessed it, follow the prompts.

This backup can be restored in the future to the unit by, you know by now, popping the stick into the Kemper and following the prompts.
