As much as I’m impressed with the kemper, I’d still say the captor X is the best thing for silent and low volume playing.

63, but it ain't age it's space. I'm currently in 120 sq. ft. and once our older two
dogs pass on we'll be downsizing to an elderly complex so space/volume most
likely will still be as much, if not more of an issue.

The Ironball 20 on the 5 watt setting satisfies the occasional need to hear glass.
It's EL84s from here on out........

Only about 950 sq.ft. but expensive as hell cause of location and the
fact they allow multiple large dogs.

Slept in the same room for about the first 20 years.
We're both in our 60s and snore badly now. This works much better.
