This happens periodically with my 2i2.

Cycle the power off/on on that powered monitor.

Makes no sense, but it works every time.

Reaper is great. Stick to it and if you have any questions - the forum is amazing.
I'm a Focusrite Clarett8Pre user - ZERO issues - and their tech/customer support is next level (had one problem with an OS update that wasn't a Focusrite issue per se, but they fixed it for me regardless). And this for a unit about 10 years old?? Ballpark??? Love Focusrite.

Glad you sorted everything out. If KRKs don't float yer boat - Yamaha HS7/HS8 are bomber.
