i tell guys all the time that all it takes is one youtuber to do a video and thats it. JHS used to do the best $50 pedal videos and literally 20 minutes after those pedals were now $300. even five years ago before everyone had a channel this would never happen. prices are never coming down again previous levels again like some people seem to be hoping and waiting for.
I am just waiting for some popular youtuber to make the "DOD GRUNGE...HIDDEN G.O.A.T PEDAL?" video, run it through $400,000 of studio shit, and watch them skyrocket to $150. I wonder when people are going to finally realize that you can make almost anything sound good in a professional level studio and post production.

These pedals have been high dollar for several years.

Wow, I’ve never even heard of that pedal. Somehow I feel like I’m not missing much either.
I had not heard of it either. I saw a video of Tim Pierce saying it’s just amazing and saw Tom Bukovac saying the same thing. Their demos sounded great, but then again, Tim Pierce always gets good tone.

Imagine my surprise when I saw the prices on what was explained to be a cheaper pedal. It looks like a behringer for gods sales.

This is true. YouTube guitar, “influencers,” bring the prices up. Tim Pierce caused the nobels to go up enormously.

Spoiler alert.

They both prolly have a couple they're trying to sell.

Doubtful, Pierce and Bukovac do session work all day, every day, and have been for many years. Those two are taking in the cash.

You can buy them new for 119.00 bucks. Their the same fucking pedal

Yeah, but then you don't get the satisfaction of knowing you have something that is hard to get, that everyone else can't have. Now THAT is what makes gear cool these days. Even if you don't like the way it sounds, who cares. The next guy can't have it and you have it, so therefore...it's better.
