100 watt versus 50 Watt

I know Dave has says that he prefers 100 watt Marshalls for the KS mod, I was just wondering if someone could explain why...

I see lots of 50 watt amps out there that are potential mod candidates, but I haven't found a nice 100 watter just yet!

I think it's just the 100W heads usually have a bigger chassis which means more room to work.
