Hopefully the last question:

What are these so called Soldano speakers? Are these a copy of something else with Soldano name on them? Who can compare them to something more popular?

All I know is Eminince is what Mie Soldano has been using in his cabs forever. He prefers them the Celestion V30 from what i remember reading.

As for the Recto vs SLO debate... If I was playing detuned chugga chugga or wanted an aggressive modern metal amp I would take the Recto. If my concern was rock, hard rock and lead tone the SLO would be it out of these two. I maintain that the SLO has one of the best lead tones ever.
