100B owners - tips & tricks wanted

Hey everyone. Finally got myself a 100B (again) - it's been a long time since I had one of these amps so I'm interested in recommendations, tips & advice about how you run your 100B.

What do you do to make them work for you?

All Pre EQ on "B", speaker excursion in the centre, variac "off" modern setting is working for me ATM. I'm torn between GBs' and V30s', they each have their own mojo.

Hey - I checked my 100B last night & guess what - Excursion has no 'middle'! Mine has L or T.

I also choose variac off & modern/new sound

The switch should have 3 positions marked L + T, it should stop in the centre.

Nope - not this one. Just L & T. There is no centre position (interesting )

I had #016, and it only had L&T

Hmm , mine is apparently Customised from Bogner, can't seem to find out though, records are sketchy. Definitely has a center position. Here a pic, the brown wire does not look production line.

Best tone I ever had and heard was the blue channel with the variac on. Just magic to play and hear! Congrats on getting another.
