I love it! BTW, how are you liking Logic? My biggest issue at the moment is that it's just not loud enough when I go to bounce it. It sounds fine in Logic, though.

Sounds great. BTW, the Axe-Fx will do the 2290 thing too. See the 2290 Delay preset. You can copy the delay block from that preset using the Recall->Effect feature.

I had Cubase on my old Powerbook (G3), so I needed time. Now I like it (although I'm pretty dumb to do my own loops and stuff - time, you know, I just don't have enough of it). The fx are very cool IMO, esp. this TC2290 thing. I have Express btw.

I had Cubase on my old Powerbook (G3), so I needed time. Now I like it (although I'm pretty dumb to do my own loops and stuff - time, you know, I just don't have enough of it). The fx are very cool IMO, esp. this TC2290 thing. I have Express btw.

I'm using the Pro version, and I jumped from GarageBand to Logic Pro. Needless to say, there was a bit of a learning curve. After watching about 5 hours worth of tutorials, I can pretty much do anything I need, and thanks to ratter, I can now bounce with confidence!

Cubase crashed many many times when I used it. Even my cracked version of LE didn't crash on the MBP - so I've bought LE last month or so.
The only minor "problem" I have is that my MBP gets very hot on its left side when the FW unit is hooked to it - although the Mackie has its own power supply.

I also like the Compressor on the Compressor Tools-->Analog Tape setting. I set up a channel strip preset with the Compressor into the Adaptive Limiter. You don't want to leave the Limiter on while tracking because it creates too much latency, but when I'm ready to bounce, I call up that Comp/Limit preset on the master output to get a quick and dirty bounce with good levels without having to fuss with anything. And I don't set the bounce to normalize in the bounce dialog box - not necessary with the limiter.
