If i could i would send you the signal test of my kemper so you could process it thru your JMP and send me back the result. ;o))))MichaelR/T":11qy8gup said:Ibanez RG (Dimarzio Tone Zone) '78 JMP 1959 Super Lead (with PPIMV) into Celestion Greenbacks.

Thanks for sharing, Michael. It's nice to see your mods before you lock them up as "secret".MichaelR/T":30ju50ux said:
Yes, which is essentially 330uf. I don't think the .68uf is making much difference there in that setup. Still, a fairly large value, which would extend into the low end, right? I guess it helps to keep the voltage drop of the cathode resistor across nearly all frequencies consistent, though. I think I'll try that and see what happens. Curiosity is getting to me.MichaelR/T":3lx4rzyp said:The V2a cathode is a 820r with a .68uF bypass AND bypassed again with a 330uF.
Yeah, it connects to your jack, which is connected to the center lug of your impedance selector. I've just not seen it done this way. I guess it really doesn't matter other than it might be variable now depending on your impedance selection. Usually it is tied to one of the three. You running 16 ohms?MichaelR/T":3lx4rzyp said:The NFB is connected to one of the output jacks and that's where I connect my speakers.
Follow the purple wire.![]()
This is helping the tightness in the bottom-end and top-end.
Where are you running your channel volume?MichaelR/T":3lx4rzyp said:The bright cap (1500pF) is adding the fizz.
Sorry, it means that it sounds great, and it gives me an idea.MichaelR/T":1cs08kcq said:bmi":1cs08kcq said:If i could i would send you the signal test of my kemper so you could process it thru your JMP and send me back the result. ;o))))MichaelR/T":1cs08kcq said:
