That was a Friedman Phil X through the Marshall 4x12 with GBs at talking volumes.
The guitar feels and sounds great. I offered to buy it on the spot, no lie. The other pickup in Scott's other yellow guitar was killer too. Scott makes great guitars and pickups. Right up there with the Andersons, Suhrs and Gibsons in the room.

I put Scott's pickups above any new production that I've tried; including MCP, Wagner, BKP....and at half the price.

I love my Whiskey pickup in my Les Paul. It was a replacement for the Motor City 2nd Degree Blackbelt I had in there and took the things I loved and added more. Is a perfect fit in my guitar.

I agree that his pickups are as good as anything out there for those tones I dig. I have no doubt I'll get another one down the road.

This particular one (WD Forte), I'd market for brighter guitars. It adds a bit of low end and compression, but retains clarity
