That sounds so freaking juicy man. I would have died to have that tone back in my hair metal days. Watching you guys post videos of your Plexi's made me want to get one... still trying to figure out the best way to dial it in. It really does have it's own unique thing going on though.

Killer sounding amp and great playing as always Michael

I kinda prefer the brighter tones you get from the high input jack, but all the variations sound great!

Thanks for the demo!!

Oh, and what Duncan pickup is that in the bridge of the Jem??

what PPIMV was used on this. Also, was the 1 wire mode used from that Ken Fischer article or a better
schematic source? Or was it that Randy Rhoads mod?

Sounds great btw. Reason I ask is that I am changing my 100W Super Tremolo setup to add the PPIMV and
was curious about the 1 wire mod. Moving away from the attenuator and boost pedal approach.

If you can get your hands on a real '68 Marshall Plexi, buy it.

Ibanez Jem with Seymour Duncan SH-4 bridge.

Somehow I missed this part.

Nevermind

Lol, no worries. :)

Thank you for the kind words.

Yeah, I kinda prefer the brighter tones from the high input jack, it really cuts nicely in a full band mix as well.

sounds great man, I would be living on that lower channel boosted, so warm sounding!

Sounds perfect with the master on 2! But, will 200 watts be loud enough in a band?? :-)

Thank you for watching and commenting.

Yeah, the lower channel boosted is great for warm leads.

-what's the $$$$ of the amp Michael, I'll buy it right now-

Yeah, I don't think I'll ever sell this amp. There's a very special lineage that comes with this amp head.
However, buy one and bring it to me and I'll fix it up for ya. :)

Thank you Andy!!

I think my full stack Major could clear a stage off pretty fast.

That sounds really great Michael. Nice playing and the tone is stellar, as usual.

Thank you my good friend, I appreciate the kind comments.

sounds terrific to me. Nice woody, hollow tone. Very expressive.

I have a JCM800 1959 4 holer unmolested. I bought the parts kit for the Rich mod from George at Metro Amps for it but I'm too scared to go poking around inside it. I was also a little hesitant to change and add gain as these amps have no loop so I have just been running it clean with pedals. Not sure what I should do, but yours sounds fantastic.
