Sounds INCRED...as always, and you're playing is tasty as usual too. I think I've asked before, but is that a plain ole basswood Ibanez Jem model or is it something a lil different? The notes leap of that thing!

Oh, and it was I that once said R/T must stand for "Righteous Tone" :D

Thank you for all those kind words my friend.
The body of this guitar is made of Poplar. I love this wood, it just screams.
Haha, I like that, R/T "Righteous Tone"

I always love your tones and clips. Thank you for posting and taking the time, truly amazing tone. For the record, even on a phone quality tone shines through. I've never heard a pod sound anything like this lol

That's very kind of you to say, I appreciate it.

It's good to know what it sounds like through other peoples devices, I often wonder sometimes.

Sound great, I like how the amp retains the clank of the plexi but with bite, nicely done!

Out of curiosity... How loud is the amp when you record? What level is your PPIMV set at?

Thank you!!
That was my goal, to retain that plexi core tone and not have it get lost in the mods.

These clips were recorded at TV listening volume with the master around 8 - 9 o'clock.

-sounds awesome as usual Michael, let me ask you this, is it possible and/or cost effective to have my 2203KK sound similar to your major on the stock side? Or just get something else and send it to you to work your magic?

Just started my '68 12000 build, went with SoZo. I could not justify the cost of Mustards, and my '69 Plexi clone sounds amazing with SoZos.

Thank you kindly Sir.
I use to own a KK2203 and I can honestly tell you that the amp won't sound like this. It's lacking in the high plate voltages.
You'd be better off buying a Major and go from there. IMHO

Yeah, I kinda wanted to bring mine back to stock form, the way it came out of the factory in 1968, and I was pleasantly surprised how good the mustards sounded in this Major.
I never really had much luck with the SoZo's in the past but it's not to say there no good.
