Sounds great! I have one that Nick(Dawnof dreamx97) here on RT modded for me, killer amp. They can be pretty rare and don't sell for as much as a 2203/4 so great values used.

Sounds fantastic! Maybe its my tin ears today but there is a wonderful girth to the notes.

Dude! You are the Super Lead whisperer! I wish my '70 Super Trem, my '72 Super Lead or my Mojave Peacemaker sounded that mean. They all need pedals boosting them to get to that level of gain.

Yeah, that sounds stellar as most of your clips do. I need to track one of these amps down. Always been interested in one.

I've tracked plenty of these old Super Leads down. The "problem" is that they all sound like 70's Aerosmith, Bad Company, Kiss etc and none of them sound like Michael R/T's clips.

Dude I really shouldn`t listen to your clips unless I`m in a position to plug in and play cause your tone and chops are very inspiring . Got my wife and kid home and I can`t plug in till tomorrow

Thank you.
The feel of the amp is incredible, specially when rippin' leads.

Thank you, you're very kind!!
This amp is modded so you might want to track one down and send it to me for some circuit tweaks. :)

Thank you for the words.

That's really cool, I never thought of my sound clips of being inspiring to others, I just wanted to showcase the amp and the mods to the best of my abilities. :)

That JTM is absolutely beautiful, never seen one with any sort of KT tube before.

Absolutely awesome.

Thank you for checking out my sound clip and commenting.

Wow! Both sound great! I think I'm partial to the 800, but I'm sure being in front of the amp is a VERY different experience than watching on my iPad. Nice work, nice playing!

I have one of these 1959 800's. Mine is stock and freakin loud. I just use it as a clean amp/pedal platform as it is not modded like yours. I also need a loop if Im playing using preamp gain.

I thought this forum was essentially a temple for the JCM 800?
