Yep, Poplar is the wood... I don’t know why some think his guitars were basswood back then, Kramer only had poplar and maple bodies at that time. He even mentions that Steve Lukather turned him onto basswood in 1990 hence forth his music man was made of basswood in 1991…
 
I made every effort to get it as close as possible to the original's specs. The neck is amazing...in fact, the more I think about it the more I'm leaning toward just keeping it and finishing it up again.
 
Gonna leave this up thru Friday. If it's still here then, I'm gonna pull it down and finish it myself.
