Possibly my favorite Thin Lizzy tune and a ripping performance ( I do like the Live and Dangerous version energy though...) Old Grey Whistle Test is a treasure trove of recordings, love this shit....

Broken string 10 seconds into the song ? pffffffttttt
Up close with "Greenie when it was still clean AF
Cozy Powell ?????? Hell yeah.

Fuck yeah. Gary's my hero. Belongs on the greatest all-time list. Top 10.

Gary's top ten for me too, big influence on my playing. Cozy, what can you say? Another great player. Thin Lizzy was the stuff.

You heard the Blues for Greeny album? His playing and tone on the first half of this song reminds me of it a lot.

Agree, Gary's in the top 10 blues rockers easy.

Hands down my number 1 influence! RIP Gary! Thanks for leaving a huge collection of work behind!

A cold day in hell is the ultimate Les Paul tone for me. I was lucky enough to see him in Liverpool on the back to the blues tour, that mans soul lived in his fingers.

Love Gary! Nothing against Gorham but the clownburst and shitty tone in that video are...a stark contrast.

Different guys and a good argument for tone is in the fingers...almost same rigs albeit Moore has Greenie...funny that guitar was just 17 yrs old then and no big deal. But yeah, Moore outclasses Gorham by a large margin

Never heard that before. Freaking loved it!
Find myself into more the bluesy 70s rock these days. Boston. Foghat
Shit been jamming ‘fool for the city and foghat live ‘ the past few months.

Foghat 'Stone Blue' is still one of my all time favorite albums, still in regular rotation
