For your consideration...
I have a 1976 Gibson Les Paul Standard. Natural finish. Original humbucker guitar. Made in Kalamazoo, MI.
Mahogany pancake body
3 piece maple top
3 piece maple neck
Rosewood fingerboard
When i got this Paul, it had a bunch of inferior, non-original parts on it. I upgraded it with RATIO locking tuners, Tone Ninja locking bridge and tailpiece, new gold speed knobs, Seymour Duncan Seth Lover neck pickup and a George Lynch MR SCARY bridge pickup.
The neck is a 60s slim carve. The frets are the original fretless wonder frets. A coil split toggle hole was drilled at some point...currently has a "dummy" switch in there. There are NO BREAKS, NO CRACKS, NO REPAIRS. This Les Paul has plenty of honest play wear for being 46 years old!
It ships in the original Gibson case. 3 original pots date it to 1976.
It's an absolute tone monster! But its heavy...i dont have an accurate scale, its about 10 lbs. A very toneful and awesome guitar...a great vintage Kalamazoo piece!
