Here’s a 1986 Charvel San Dimas with a 2-piece all flame maple body. Not a maple top, but the whole body is maple with a maple neck/rosewood fretboard. Each of the 3 pickups can be turned on/off for lots of different tones to play with. One of the last 50 made in the orginal San Dimas factory. The maple body gives a clarity, definition and bite to the tone compared to to other tonewoods. For those that don't know, these last Charvel's made in the factory had Jackson logos on the headstock (backplates are still Charvel labeled), but it is a Charvel, not a Jackson
