Killer. I have a red stripe in a factory hardwood head shell. They sound amazing. They do come very close to the IIC+.

Yes. The "long head" had versions with just a half power switch, instead of the "Class A" switch. The one i was selling was this way - They actually end up with more output power and headroom (by having all 4 tubes wired as pentodes). This honestly helps the amp reach it's full potential, in my opinion. For high gain sounds, anyway. I think the Green stripes were all this way.
