Im Randall MTS guy through and through ive got thousands invested in it but one paticular custom module, The Jaded Faith 1959RR has really gotten me wanting the real deal with the 59rr i can nail the GnR AFD Tone pretty much spot on but im looking for something more versitile than just a straight out 800 Ive been looking at the JCM2000 DSL's and TSL's and mainly at the TSL 100 head. I play alot of 80's hard rock and metal, I need a dedicated clean channel and Im my band I play alot heavier style stuff so I like the idea of having 3 channels a clean a gainy channel and a violent High Gain Channel.. ive been looking on ebay and there seems to be alot of TSL's available for under a grand. What is a good price for one of these? and ive heard that the TSL 60's have a shared EQ on the gain channels is this true? this would make them undesireable for me since i perfer to have my mids up a bit on my lower gain channel and have them scooped a bit on my heavy channel at least thats what i think id like to do... opinions? recommendations? any help would be greatly appreciated!

I did the same thing about 18 months ago. I'm a Mesa-guy but wanted a Marshall. I grabbed a JVM210. Very nice but it didn't feel, to me, like the Marshalls I played growing up. Sold that and got a 2009 Splawn Quick Rod. Have never looked back.
 
It's pretty damn hard to beat a Quickrod for a well-built, versatile, cost-effective hot-rodded Marshall sound with a great clean channel.
