Hi

Looking at small 1x12 ported cabs, taking at look at the bogner 1x12 and the port city os wave. Anyone have experience with these in terms of comparison/contrast. Need a small setup but want a fuller sound with bottom end. Heard the Bogner is hard to beat for this, but interested in opinions.

Don't rule out the CAA 1x12. I had one and miss it greatly!

wow forgot about that one, thanks. I have one of their 2x12s and it sounds pretty good. Will check that one too.

Thiele cab for sure, with an EV12ML slays. Not just a good small cab, one of my favorite cabs period.

I have a Bogner Shiva 112CPS, along with a couple Splawn Street Rod 1x12's and a Mojotone Canyon and have had Mesa widebody C90 and a Thiele with EV.

The Bogner is the best build feel cab I've ever encountered with the Splawns (had them custom built similar to the Bogner) right behind. Both are bigger 1x12's, Splawn bigger than Bogner, and sound great in the room and/or mic'd. The Mojotone is a solid Marshall style cab, has V-Type in it and sounds good with my Marshall 1923. Mesa 1x12's I've experienced are very focused, tight sounding cabs - not necessarily a bad thing, just my experience.

I'm really not too keen on shipping them, however, I've had them all off and on the local market with lowball tire-kicker offers. PM me if you're interested in talking further toward a purchase.

The old Boogie theile with the evm 12L gets my vote.

The old Mesa Thiele 1x12 with the EVM, but get a pair of them and spread them out a few feet and it can rival a 4x12.
