Can I run my combo pre-amp out into channel A out to the input on
my Crate head.
Fx out to Channel B and back to head
then speaker out to Cabinet??

Would that cause a Ground fault> Don't Need Me no SHAKE, RATTLE and HUM!!!!!!!!!!

Options? also have my custom built pedal board which is

Pitch Shifter
OD
Metal Zone
EQ
HOF Reverb
DD3 Delay
EHX Tremolo
Boss RP100 Loop

Just want to run all Equipment together....Please i'm open minded and would love ideas and/or criticism. I would like to have the amps with a Ground Fault ABY switch, just low on the walking around money!!!!

Just to get it straight, You are trying to run guitar into combo, pre out into chan a of bbe, chan a of bbe out to input (where you plug in your guitar) of crate head, THEN run the channel B in fx loop of crate? It would work but might get waaaaay over saturated/processed..

well, thats kinda just a thrown together idea to get some different options. With the equipment that I have, how would you run it? note the combo is 4ohm out. The crate head has 2 2ohm outputs parallel. Currently I have the speaker in the combo unpluged and the wires into a jack mod I made for cabinets.

Question is: How in the world can I play both amps with both cab and combo speaker? Could wire the combo speaker up parallel to the added jack, but kinda wanted to add some jacks where the crate head goes through that speaker from one output and the other to the 4X12 at 8ohm stereo and the combo into the cabs other side???

So stuck and I cant find a site that has like a rig builder and impenitence calculator to kinda visually and mathematically see it before digging into it.

Does your combo have the speakers, AND you have a separate cab, sorry, I'm not quite following. Does the combo also have fx loop? If it does you can use one amp for the pre (whichever one you like the best) then run your fx into return of the other amp for dry/wet sound..

Ok the pedal board list is up there....

AMPS:
A- Fender Deluxe 90 DSP (90w) with 1 12" speaker that I used an ohm meter it read 4 ohms, but not sure those exist so prolly 8 ohm.
B- Crate GX900h Excalibur 90w Head (2 outputs at 2 ohms wired parallel).

Rack: (So far)
-Furman power conditioner.
-BBE 482i Sonic Maximizer

Cabinet:
B-52 AT412A *slanted* with the switch for either, 4 or 16ohm mono and 8 ohm stereo... was wanting to use stereo, but thought that the crate would need to use that combos speaker to match imp..?? Unless one is used for pre.

Just wanna hook it all up to sound the best..Just got the Crate for 30 dollars because it wasn't putting out sound.
This head is a recent addition that, I bought to fix and haven't really had time to tweak, to my preference. Which, I'm gonna probably do a little different than the fender.
So, 1st thing is the ohm differences. If, I choose to run stereo. If so, is there a way to wire-in that extra combo speaker to the crate's side of cab(adding another jack for in and out, only for convenience), to balance the ohm difference. If not, probably the fender as pre amp. It's honestly, even being solid state, pretty close up there with my old Mesa Single Rec. Only lacking the warmth/ price/ etc. With an *ABY* switch as a 3rd option, to choose.

Does that kinda give you a better image to go with??

I know that it's all preference. Which of the 3 would be the most versatile and blended. If that makes sense? Was Gonna just turn the deluxe 90 into a External Cab and put the head of it, in the 2 spaces of the rack.

could be mod'd to look cool.. just kinda seems pointless. when it's a perfectly good shell..LOL

Not sure man, to be honest, I'm a mad scientist when it comes to stuff like this. My answer might get you shocked, that's how I learned real quick what not to do. Does the fender have an fx loop? And you have it fixed so you can plug into a cab? The speaker that came from the combo, Is it rated high enough for the fender? The cab seems to be rated at the same ohms as the crate, so like you said you can only run the crate head through it by itself.
So
#1 Does Fender have FX loop,
#2 Can the speaker you are running the Fender into handle the wattage?
#3 Which amp sounds best to you?

lol actually just blew a fuse in the crate and also some diode or capacitor. This amp only shows Schematics for the GX2200h :( something else is wrong with the crate, than what I thought i'd fixed...something by the line out and what I think is the heat plate...maybe its the Q8 or Q9? the thing that burnt was in the r21, c2, r4 area...on mine it's sideways. Man I figured that it had something else wrong with it...Here are schematics. I will have to take a picture later lol. I've had enough messing with it today.

actually might be R 7 or R11 but they are facing horizontal, if you rotate the picture upright.
