These guys are just testing all the different theories that are out there.......it's interesting.Dude, the sheriff on the scene said there was no body armor. And it's pretty clear from the video and the photos there was no body armor.
Know what is real ? Last Sunday, nailing an 8" steel gong consistently from 200 yards with a 16" BCM MKII with an Aimpoint PRO ( unmagnified optic) on it. And it was like 22 degrees out. Did I mention I was standing up shooting free hand ? And I'm not a particularly good shot.AI is not real
Yeah I get thought that as well but I've posted shots at 140 yards or more that did about the same amount of damage that is seen at whatever yardage this guy shot at.Shooting at 40yrds to debunk a 200yrd shot seems weird
I guess it depends on how you measure damage. Without getting into all the other variables that can and do affect any given shot on any given day, here's the basic ballistic information for the 30-06.Yeah I get thought that as well but I've posted shots at 140 yards or more that did about the same amount of damage that is seen at whatever yardage this guy shot at.
Those were some pretty high winds. Impressive.Know what is real ? To be clear, being under duress with a life on the line could absolutely change the equation. A paper/steel target? See ya’…I have guns. I’m not a “gun guy”. I’m not against hunting, but I don’t hunt. I used to carry, but don’t now - no real reason, just a choice. I had a range membership years ago but dropped it after a couple years and, maybe, 10 visits. Just no time with competing interests. Having said that, this “average marksman” is confident that I could hit a 200 yard shot with a decent rifle and basic scope - all day, every day…![]()
