Yep. It's definitely voiced different from the rest. The Schmidt's in there, but there's SO much more too judging from the vids/clips trickling in.

Wicked

Same on the Private seting for Loomis vid. This seems like the VH4 "Classic"

Sounds good.

Great question. I will find out.

I'm guessing the answer to that is no, since Peter had posted German law prevents him from doing the external bias points:

viewtopic.php?f=14&t=60815&hilit=external

And I have to say, I thought I was going to be a happy camper for a long time to come with my Herbert/CCV/AxeFX combo, but this Hagen news really has me GAS'ing

negative on the external bias points for any future Diezel amps.

Germany code won't allow external biasing on any consumer product, not just Diezel amps. It is amazing that German lawmakers thought it safer to encourage people to go ahead and get in the chassis and expose themselves to 500V DC to bias their amp, as opposed to sticking a probe into a bias port. From some of what I read on the Diezel forum though, some folks don't need external bias either. As a matter of fact, Peter should design his amps with child-proof and tamper proof locks.

Beginning of this video has an 8 string into the Hagen. Sounds pretty sick for just a shitty camera. ;)

Oh, lookie! It's me!

The Kodak Zi8 I had there wasn't really the best thing to record this amp, to be frank, but it has a tone I do prefer to the VH4, so if you'd want a more "open" sounding Diezel with stupid versatility, this is the one. I was also quite happy using it with my future B7 (the one Jeff was playing in the vid) and a hempcone loaded 4x12", which has to be one of the greatest singing lead tones I got out of an amp, and it was basically flat when it comes to the EQ - beautiful stuff. :)

**UPDATE**

The first Hagens will be shipping in 4 weeks as per Peter Diezel.

The suspense is Killing me. I cant ever do this again...
What, buy an amp?
no...just be patiently waiting for an amp for months...I already ordered it...its just the anticipation...its getting to me...    :D

Im not sure how many more amps I can buy anyway...running out of space here at the mothership..
I hear ya man. I forgot what that feeling is like. Haven't bought a new amp since '04. :aww:

BTW I'm really looking forward to your Hagen demo when you receive it! Your VH4 vids are great!

Yeah, I'm going to have some high quality vids jumping off as soon as it lands and I dial in some of it's best tones, or whatever I can manage. I'm trying to get a better cab to demo it with but an Orange 2x12 is decent, and a lot of people have v30s so it's more relatable with that cab...wonder when mine is going to land...

I received a email/press release from Diezel HQ saying Hagen will be ready to ship June 15.
