sounds great! did Friedman build a room for his namm space? i remember egnator did years ago so u could crank the amps a bit.

Badass!! Sounded great!

Just a sidenote, the guy in the background at around the 1:25 mark is Dave Black who was in the documentary "The Decline of Western Civilization Pt 2". He was in the band Seduce from Detroit if anyone has seen it. I met him two years ago at Sweetwater and really cool guy. Got to talk a bit about the Friedman guitars and when I mentioned that I knew who he was, he really seemed to appreciate it.

Sounds great. What effect is in the loop?

That’s not in the loop. They are running a wet/dry/wet rig. You can see the two Matrix poweramps in the rack reacting to the guitar signal. I know Dave likes to also mix in some of the dry sound into the “wet” cabinets. That makes for a huge massive sound. Of course I do the same thing in my rig. :D

I think the BE-50 below it is scared. The light is flickering.

Great sounding amp! Doug always sounds fabulous through anything!

Not bad at all. Dave said it's "more open" than the BE50, so perhaps is more aggressive and less compressed? I was considering the Bogner Helios Eclipse as I mostly play gain vs. clean, but with this price, it's a tougher call.

sweet jesus, that sounds great. GIVE ME GIVE ME I WANT I WANT I NEEEEEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

keep it in your pants buddy

I definitely hear it as less compressed and more open traditionally Marshall tone, I think the early BE100 had the more compressed 80's tone and its seems Dave has been tweaking it the last few years.

Agreed. Seems each version gets progressively more open and dynamic. Older models were a bit too processed for my liking. Seems like Dave has hit his stride here with a rawer tone. Now...will he change it again? Let's hope he's finalized this baby. ;)

A cool feature would be an Old/New switch to have the newer, more open vibe, but then also switch to Old to get it closer to that older vibe--but double it would be exactly like the older vibe, which would be fine with me. I liked the older vibe a lot, but found it a little too compressed for my taste, but still a badass sound.
