2204 project finished

After I sold my Blood and Thunder modded Superlead I've been scheming on replacing it with another Modded Marshall. Since I'm too distrustful of my capabilities on sourcing a Marshall donor I grabbed a Ceriatone minus the headshell and transformers. I grabbed a sour mash headshell, Classictone iron, and metro loop then sent it to Monomyth and here is the finished result..

I can't wait to get it home and just like last time Shea was a pleasure to do business with as was Nik and Sourmash(can't remember his name). Granted I still have approximately the same amount of money invested as getting a used 2204 I didn't want to take a chance with something that may have been already tampered with. I'm excited to hear the end results

Yep, they are WAY better IMO than the stock Ceriatone transformers. Also had a Ceriatone 2204 and due to the PT going out, replaced both with Classictones. Huge improvement to my ears.

My Black Sun 2204 sounds incredible. First time I've ever thought, if I saw a Cameron 2204 cheap I'd pass. I have the perfect Marshall right now.

The ceriatone stock kit without transformers is top notch, I’ve hated on them before but after modding Clint’s amp I’ll have to eat my words, great quality.

Yeah man a month or so after I sold my Superlead I bought a JJ jr with ZZounds pay as you play to fill the void that the Superlead left. Honestly I was let down. Not that its not a great amp I just got spoiled. After that I started planning on getting another Monomyth. Im so freaking excited. Now Im shopping for a cab to dedicate to this amp.
