2x12 cab impedence recommendation for Mod 50

Wanting to know if you have a recommended mono cab impedance for the Mod 50?

i kind of figured that it'd be 8....

Bruce...Jeff....can either of you possibly elaborate on tone differences [if any] with the Mod 50 set at 8 vs. 16 ohm for matching 2x12?
