cool vids ! bogner uberschall seems to be more muscular than the VHT Sig X... but I know the VHT cab are darker in voicing... maybe if you could do a swap in the cab between this two?

Really? VHT cabs are IMO known for being on the bright side if anything. The Deliverance not so much as the Fat Bottom, but they aren't that different in reality. Also, Bogner cabs ARE known for being dark if anything. VHT amps can be dark sounding pretty easy, but that's why they normally sound so good with their matching "brighter" cabs.

Believe me I used to have a 212 0range ... back then it was a stock PCC212 orange cab with V30 which I thought it was sweet and nice... And I thought so orange cabs are tight bottom enough... But is rather harsh on the highs... Soon my desire sets in for an all out fatbottom cab FB 412... Amazingly well built a angled cab and hooked it up with my 50 CL... And it just sounded darker than the orange... Less harsh pronounced mids and tighter than the orange... Amazing but at some point I also reckoned the orange cab with the sweeter nature but it be ideal without the harsh top end....till my speakers are old I may want to cross a mix of v30 and p50es... Or if i ever gets bogner I get one uber cab but no idea what speakers are in... And still the PCC212 is a rear loaded thus the FB412 is a front load...

Well my VHT cab is quite a bit brighter and tighter than any other cab I've played, so we will just have to agree that we hear things differently. And yes I know that VHT's are front loaded. The statment that you quoted me on was based on my personal experience, and equipment played. I love Orange cabs FWIW. Uberkabs are an x pattern of 2 vintage 30's, and 2 g75's or whatever they're called. The newer versions have front loaded speakers which should make them tighter and brighter than the older ones if my understanding of front mounted speakers is correct. However, I'm pretty sure that Bogner used to at least (don't know if they still do), put sound dampening material on the back baffle which made them on the dark/muffled side compared to VHT's. This is just my experience, and the information I believe to be true, but it is by no means gospel.

I love Bogner stuff, but I think their cabs are a bit hyped. Heck they aren't even finger jointed, and even the "lowly" Marshall :scared: does finger joint construction. Nothing wrong with the Bogners, just don't think they are worth what you pay for them.

Ohh ? cool I haven known any of from what I see but far as I know mesa makes good nice looking fingerjoint cab or dovetail joint ... I don't know if VHT cabs are also fingerjoint? but what what I love is their completely sealed off back which no screws are attached at the rear ... I think if I wanted another cab but for different response I may get simply get another FB412 and simply swap the speakers..

VHT's are a super dry amp, and they tend to sound alot like the person playing them. I have a pretty heavy hand, and tend to get a bit "more" out of some amps than others do. I do have an UL though, so that does make some difference. ;) I think all 3 amps are great work horse's, but when I had to sell one of my amps, I quickly kept the UL and sold the Rev. 1 Uber. I never even considered keeping the Bogner over the VHT. The Bogner was super easy to make sound "big," but still couldn't get as big as the VHT when it was being played hard/well. Plus my UL does things the Bogner can't do, like being played all night at max gain without needing a noise gate. On my UL you can hear every note on 6 string chords again with the gain maxed. If a sucky player plays through it, it makes me feel better about my mediocre playing when they sound like ass lol! Still I do have a Twin Jet en route even as I type this, so................ =D

So the twin jet is a grade over the uberschall ? sorry if I sound misleaded I don't know bogner at all... but if I like a more open tone the TJ is my take then? would it sound dry having running them with kt88? would the TJ gets stiffer than any uber?

KT88's tend to be tighter than EL34's or 6L6's. The TJ should be tighter than a normal Uberschall, but it's not better per se. It is just a bit different.

I don't know if VHT's are either, but they are very well constructed, and I love the sealed back.

will the TJ in any case sounded larger than the Uberschall ?

Dunno, I haven't played mine yet as it doesn't get here until Friday. I used to own the first version Uberschall. I liked it a ton, but it was on the noisy side, and you could muddy it up really easy if you got out of control with a couple of the knobs.

Oh I certainly see that's not the case for Fayette amps... Perhaps the spectrum of controls are wider for bogner... Cool a TJ and a Fryette UL would be an arsernal
