The mother is a super cool amp. Different than everything else I've encountered on the market, but not so different as to be unusable or totally unfamiliar. If you are wanting to try something different from yet another hot rodded marshall, this might be a good candidate.

Well said, and I agree. I would absolutely buy another one of these someday. A very cool, unique sound that's not foreign either. Any grunge, doom, alternative, indie, or metal enthusiast would enjoy the sound. Can also get really get bright and cut through any mix if you want it to.
