5.5 lb Les Paul Standard - possible? Thoughts on price

I've been looking around for a LP Standard and came across this - my understanding, although I don't know too much about them, is that yes - this would definitely be chambered...but 5.5 pounds?

Then I saw the pic where it looks like he's weighing it horizontally with something supporting the headstock- so that probably explains it.

Anyways, looking for thoughts on the asking price as well.

That weight seems impossible for a LP. The lightest SG I’ve ever seen was just over 6lb. I’d say the price is quite high as well. Most ebony LP’s seem to go for $1100-$1200 lately.

yea, no way, normally just the body without hardware and stripped bare is at least 5 pounds

price is high IMHO for a 2010 black LP. I would say $1500 should be top $ if its in mint cond.

That is a thought but I don't think it would be 13lbs ish.

Never saw one this light.. Maybe an error in weighting it?
