50 watt naked ?

watched the clips and naked amp is damn indulging..but would a 100watt be efficient at room volume? or its meant for cranked up? may it be a 50watter?

Problem with 50 watt amps, is they always leave you wondering if there was more balls with the 100 watt and if you are leaving something behind.

Short answer....there is - and you are. I would never buy a 50 watt version of any 100 watt amp. But....that's just me on opinion. YMMV....

Why anyone would want to tame a lion is beyond me...The volume difference between 100 and 50 is 3 db's!

I see well thats so true... and been often talked if aggressiveness of 100watt..ill try engage a naked..its just to good tone.

Luckily there is no 100W version of the Cornford Mk50H, so I don't have to wonder much

hopkinWFG..where abouts do you live? If you live anywhere around Southern Kentucky or Nashville.. I'd be glad to let you try out my BE-100. The BE-100 has a Half Power switch (I never use myself) for your info, and a Return Level on the loop..so controling volume is never a issue.

hi greg... thanka for your kind offer but am from outside usa..singapore..
is really though to search the amp u like without having the.chance test it..
I kinda like the clips I heard when premier guitars were doing the demo for friedman amps which first shown the dirty shirely then I ran into complete infatuation with the naked amp which.came second to dirty shirely...i dont know how to describe the tone but it seems to be addictive thou...think is the chewyness which people describe here correct me if am wrong and the clips I heard is so expressive...so thats it am saving for one...but soon I heard the marsha which has got alot more features... and am kinda,lost for which to go...but I play 7 strings some,metal music too...currently own a fryette 50cl like it but has got very open tone and leads isnt that expressive lack of the chewyness?lol
