5150 3 100W with RG 16 and Mastermind

I hooked it up and everything works. However when I switch channels it has to be in sequence from 1 to 2 to 3 and vice versa. If I try and go from 1 to 3 or from 3 to 1 it won't switch and defaults to channel 1. I can switch from channel 1 to 2 and back and from channel 2 to 3 and back. From 1 to 3 and from 3 back to 1 it will not switch and stays on channel 1. I do have the special cable made for the head too. Any help would be appreciated.
 
sounds like a NORMAL OPEN or NORMAL CLOSE setting on your RG16 needs to be reversed on the controller. don't know exactly how to change it on the RJM, but I sometimes have the same thing on the Voodoo when setting up. search through the manual or give Ron a ring.
 
it should be pretty easy. access the control function you have set for the channel changes on your controllers. go a few layers into it and find the NO/NC setting. flip it for either channel 1 or 3. something along these lines should set you up.
 
I wish it was, but navigating through it is a bit confusing.
