5150 and el34's

i seem to have read somewhere that when converting a 5150/6505 head to el34, all that is needed is to ground pin 1 of the power tube socket closest to the power switch, upgrade the screen resistors to 1k-5W, and do a bias mod that allows you to get the el34's in range. is this all that has to be done ? has anyone else done this to there amps ?

Peavey makes one now... 6534 Amp...

I know they make the 6534, but i dont have one. I do however already have a 6505, so i figured i would just make this one el34. Also im not sure i want el34's permanently. Its just something i was thinking of trying
