5150 III 4x12 cab difference

Taking the leap and adding an EVH 4x12 to pair with my 50w Stealth . I can’t see any difference other than the blacked out plate on the “412ST 100s limited run” version. Same price, same speakers, etc. Is there any significant difference between the two or just a cool marketing angle to pair with the amp?
 
I looked for an EVH cab to buy locally for months to pair with a 50W Stealth and from my research, all of those cabs are identical. Just different tolex or badges.

I really like the tonal differences between the EVH cab and some 1960B's I have with Greenbacks. The EVH cab is a little smoother sounding. I am sure the construction differences has something to do with that as well as the speakers even though those are similar.

Thanks so much. I have a pair of the 212s, one stock, and the other I replaced with GT 75s. (That one lives in a flight case for a compact tour rig) The stock speaker to my ear are “boxy”sounding to my ear but the 412 with the EVH G12 gets the win with everyone I’ve spoke with and heard firsthand.

All the EVH 4x12 cabs are completely identical in construction and speakers. Only difference is the color of the badge... and the tolex if you happen to get a white one.

Good thing too, because EVH 4x12 cabs are awesome. I have two and love em.

One reason the cabs are smoother sounding than other Greenback cabs is because these use Heritage Greenback speakers, which are different than standard Greenbacks. They have a warmer, less "papery" or brittle high end. If you open the cabs up you'll see "EVH" signature speakers but they're literally just Heritage Greenbacks with a different sticker on them.
