Very close to pulling the trigger on one of these. Any reason not to get one? Owners please give me your opinions about this amp. Thx!

Only had mine a couple weeks. Absolutely love it. Just cant dial it in with the standard 'noon' settings.
Really is a powerhouse. Excellent clean channel. Does great rock. We were doing alot of Crue and Poison Kiss....etc the other night and it just punched thru the mix of the drums. It wont get buried thats for sure. For real heavy stuff.....man.
This is one powerhouse here. Check it out thru Sweetwater. No likey...ship it back.
I knew within 2 minutes plugged in this amp was a total ass kicker. ;)

Can someone please(pretty please?) post some gut shots of the Stealth?

Mine was from the first run and I love it. Opinions are all over the map on which 5153 people prefer but I think the majority agree that the 5153 line is a great amp line. I have owned the 50 watt, 100watt and Stealth. I prefer the Stealth.

Issues : the amp may just have too much gain. I usually stay on the blue channel as the red is ridiculous. This is a good issue to have in my lowly opinion.

Yup.....rather cruise around town in a Ferrari in 2nd gear barely using any gas....
then drive a chevette full throttle....turbo BOOSTS.....engine ready to blow....at the same speed.

I've owned almost every high gainer amp out there in the search for the ultimate thrash/old school metal tone in my head. This amp has made me feel that the search is over!
After 30 years of searching...i am pretty sure that this is the one! ACDC, RIOT, Mercyful Fate, Maiden, early CRUE, Saxon, Judas Priest, Legs Diamond, DIO, Sabbath, Budgie, UFO, Annihilator, Tesla, plus more all live in the green channel. They cross over into the blue but I like the blue for early Metallica, Down, Testament, Exodus, StormTroopers of Death, M.O.D.,Death Angel, Nuclear Assault, Anthrax, Slayer, plus many more live on the Blue Channel. They cross over into the Red Channel but the Red goes a little deeper for me with Decapitated, Lamb of God, KillSwith Engage, Fear Factory, Pantera, Cannibal Corpse, Death, Deicide, Cattle Decapitation.

It does anything from early metal, hair metal, thrash, all the way to modern metal. Lots of amps can do that but this one just does it better imo.
It does it the way I've always wanted it to sound and feel like, the way I always heard it in my head.
As you can see by the bands I listed it covers a LOT of ground so it is not a one trick pony.
Dont ask me about cleans because I dont play them enough to offer an opinion on that in my opinion.

Buy it!!! If you dont like it you can sell it rather easily. There are only like 400 or so of these Stealth amps (for now) so you would have no problem selling or returning it.

what cab are you using with the Stealth? it seems like this thing would go much better with a 4x12 than a 2X12, consider how much air and headroom it's going to pump.

I am using two randall 4x12 lynch box cabs.
they have super v emenince speakers.
Yeah totally agree. I am sure 4x12s are going to sound better then smaller cabs.

I'm not an owner but would like to be after trying one out yesterday. It was awesome, super easy to play through too. I was almost accidentally playing awesome leads, lol

Keep the gain at around .05 and you should be good to go...!!!

What's a good price on the used market for these?

There are probably only 500 of these out there ? Am I wrong ?

The few I have seen pop up have been near full retail price even used.
