Someone asked me to do this before I went on vacation, but didn't have time. Had some time today, so threw these together super quick lol. One take per amp per side and done. Lots of flubs lol. Whatever lol.

And the original with the Fishman Fluence modern in the guitar instead of the Nuke.

:D Thanks dude  1 and 3 for me!

Thanks for checking it out. The Mark IV definitely has that old school scratchy character that I like to it. The 5150II is going back to GC tomorrow LOL.

The PRS, surprisingly, is creeping into my #1 spot. Hopefully they come out with a 100 watt version of it.

The Mark IV has Sovtek 6L6s and Chinese Ruby's in it. This one is a 1992 Mark IVa. Just shipped out my 1997 Mark IVb yesterday, sadly.

I have a Mark IVa and love it.

I had a MT15 but it had that dreaded hum issue.

Mine hasn't had any hum issues, and it kinda splits the difference between the Mark IV and a 5150 in some ways...which are my 2 favorite amps.

The Mark IVa has been the king around here for a couple of years now, though this one has given me a TON of headaches. Had to send it to mesa TWICE within a year. First, tried to take it to our local Mesa certified tech. They had it for 10 weeks, and could not fix it. Ended up shipping it out to CA, and got it back about 4 weeks later. Then about a month later, starts having the same exact issue, so it had to go back. I guess with these older ones, the Orange Drops start to fail. They replaced the failed ones the first time, but then others failed, and they ended up replacing all of them the second time. Wish they would've just replaced them all the first time, but oh well. So of the 2 years I have had it, it has worked for about 15 months LOL. Extremely frustrating...but it sounds so damn good!

Mine doesn’t have those dreaded faulty caps. I chatted with Mike B about mine.

I liked the MT15, that hum was annoying.

How do you know if your amp has the batch of caps that might have this issue?

I have been considering putting new electrolytic caps in my 1990 mark IVA, but I assumed I wouldn't have to touch the film caps.

So I did notice the hum issue at practice last night. Doesnt seem to come through the speakers, just sounds like electrical hum happening inside the amp. I never heard it before, and I didnt really test if it increases with volume. Most of my playing on it has been low volume, and at practice I wear ear plugs, so I didnt notice it before.

Either way, doesnt really bother me. If it starts doing it with the amp at bedroom volumes, but the hum volume is what I heard last night, that could be an issue.
