never heard of a 10-56 or 11-56.

52s yes. but not 56s. Sorry Im not much help

I believe the Zakk Wilde (sp*) GHS boomers are 60-10 which is as close as I know of off the shelf, doesn't mean they aren't out there.

i allways throw away all the catalogs i get, but they seem to be easier to figure strings and such, rather than online.

I want to say DR has a big bottom set like that. Occasionally I use a set of 12-56 and install a 10 on high e.

Ernie Balls has a 12-56. I'll be trying them this weekend. Will report back

DR DDT (Drop Down Tunings) I had a set on my Les Paul. They were 11-56s. Cool strings, I just didn't have the guitar set up to go as low as I felt the strings were comfortable for me, so I went back up to a set of 10-52s.

A while back I wanted some custom string packs with basically a mixture of 9.5's and 10's. I can't remember exactly which, but GHS or D'addario said they would no problem making me custom string packs, IF I ordered enough packs. I'm not sure what their idea of 'enough' is, but I had a feeling it would have be in the neighborhood of 60 to 100 packs.

I've loved Ernie Ball strings for 20 years, but they basically told me I was nuts for even thinking of asking them for custom string packs. :(

My old guitarist for Blood Runs Dry had a set of 11-56s made for him by SIT. He had to custom order a box, but they were great strings. The stay in tune (get it) and last a while. They really do hold up good. He never broke strings, even with all the dive-bomb and tremolo stuff he used to pull off in his solos. I'd custom order a set with whatever string gauge you want. It's how it's done, son!
