Set of 5 new old stock (NOS) Beijing square getter 12AX7 tubes. Perfect complement for a high gain head. Many amps from the '80s and '90s were designed around these tubes (including Mesa Boogie, Marshall, Soldano, VHT, Bogner, Lee Jackson, Mike Morin, etc.).
All tubes are tested for current draw, shorts and grid leaks.
These were produced from the '70s through the early '90s, and are characterized by their high gain, low noise, and balanced tone. They are nothing like the current production Shuguang and Psvane 12AX7 tubes that are made in China today. These have a triple mica spacer on top of the plate structure and a square waffle-like getter which distinguish these sought-after tubes.
