Of course, asking this question after I’ve bought a quad of 6402’s and waiting for them to ship out, but it has me wondering; how different are the 90’s 6402 cone greenbacks and the early 2000’s 53H1777 cone greenback reissues? I already have a 2004 1960BX with a quad of the 53H1777 cones, and I couldn’t pass up a quad of the 6402 for $150 a speaker to try out. I’m not after the pulsonic tone, but more after a few records from the later 90’s/early 2000’s that used reissue greenbacks, which obviously the late 90’s recordings were 6402, but not too sure about the early 2000’s stuff. Anyone have experience with both?

Nothing special, these are your basic greenback. The pulsonic thing isn't my goal either tbh but you definitely did well imo.
