65 Princeton RI mods anyone?

A few mods come to mind. Before the cathodyne phase inverter you can add a master volume, just replace the 1meg resistor with a 1meg audio taper pot. This will let you control how much you drive the phase inverter. The breakup on a cathodyne phase inverter is much different than the breakup on a long tail pair PI you get on bigger amps.

Adding a mid pot, you change the 6800 ohm resistor to ground in the tone stack to a 10k or 100k pot.
You can also change the mid cap from a 0.047uF to a 0.022uF like you find a Super reverb, this shifts the mid scoop and makes the amp a touch thicker. If you want it switchable, just get a push pull pot and have in be 0.022uF and pulled you add a 2nd 0.022uF in parallel for a total over 0.044uF when its pulled. It will pop the first time you switch it as the cap is charging.
